Welcome to the State Guard Association of the United States (SGAUS). We are a national organization representing the more than fifteen thousand men and women who serve today in our nation’s state defense forces.

From the Minutemen of the American Revolution to the Home Guards of the Second World War, volunteers in state military forces have served our nation and our communities with honor and distinction. It is our privilege to represent the men and women who continue the proud American tradition of volunteer service in today’s state military forces.

In support of that ideal, the SGAUS strives to be a voice for today's state defense forces and their members. Our organization works to strengthen our national defense and homeland security by ensuring that our state governors and adjutants general have highly skilled, well-trained state defense forces to call upon in times of crisis.

NEW: In our continued effort to enhance our service quality to our membership, on February 10, 2013 all administrative actions for members and future members of SGAUS will be handled by a new firm recently retained by SGAUS – Success Unlimited, located in Dove Canyon, California.

In addition to assisting with the planning and coordination of the Associations midyear and annual conventions, they’ll assume all of the day-to-day management demands of the association: all membership issues including Dues, Database, Communications and Purchasing of SGAUS ribbons by members, etc. The official transition date for their new supporting role is February 9, 2013.

In addition to the many benefits anticipated, this transition will allow you the opportunity to pay membership dues, enroll for new membership, or purchase earned ribbons and medals on-line at the SGAUS web site address.  The Association is confident this transition will help us provide you with better service in a timely manner and resolve many of the delays previously experienced.

Our future is bright and exciting, and it can only become more enriched with your active involvement and support of this new administration!
